The Project Prevention and Control of Infection to COVID-19 in Brazil (PREVCOVID-BR) is a joint initiative of the School of Nursing of the University of São Paulo (EEUSP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States.
The Project started in August 2020 in ten public hospitals in the country, where the main objective is to reduce the intra-hospital spread of COVID-19 in selected hospitals, and was planned based on operational considerations of the CDC to contain COVID-19 in healthcare facilities (EAS) outside the US.
It was a great honor for us to participate in the project to create a visual system that communicates the norms and standards established to the hospitals in question. We created visual elements that lightly translated this important content, in addition to
easy-to-understand illustrations, pictograms and a cheerful and harmonious color palette.
